Hello Blomkest Baptist! I hope the 140th Anniversay will be very enjoyable on 12 June! I am presently in Afghanistan for about 2 weeks. I will be speaking at Chapel in Kuwait on the 12th of June as well!! Thanks for all the care packages that have been sent! I share them with my people and they enjoy everything that arrives! Time has gone by here fairly quickly and there are only a few months left until I make it back home.

I hope all at Blomkest Baptist have a wonderful Easter Sunday! I will be spending Easter in Afghanistan this year with great people and great Chaplains....

Hello everyone!! Seems early but I am already thinking and planning for Christmas here with my unit... As such, I am hoping I can get some support for Advent Nights. We are showing Christmas movies and sharing family traditions. I am looking for everything that tastes good to share from Christmas and Julotta (and Lutefisk does not taste good). Candy Canes, Meat and Cheese packages like those from Menards or Hickory Farms or what ever... Looking to make this a great experience for those here... and maybe if anyone has an extra Tomte around it would be fun too! This is starting 28 November... the night before Advent begins... Let me know if there are any questions... Thank you so much for the help!!

Thanks again for the care package! It arrived while I was out of town but now it's been picked up! I appreciate all the support from back home. The next few weeks will be busy with more traveling around the region. Thanks again!!

Finally caught up with Michael Hulst at the airport in Ali A Saleem. Good guy and good friends.

Returned from Afghanistan and had a care package from Dean and Marlene and the church! Thanks for the stuff and the love! 15 hours getting back to Kuwait yesterday made me really appreciate it! Thanks again!!

in Bagram, Afg for a couple days... and a couple more to go before getting back to Kuwait. I will post some mountain pics when I get back... This is a beautiful country!

Drove passed Burger King, McDonalds and Hardees today!!

Caught up to Michael through email at least! I will try to meet up with him soon. I will be going through there soon one way or another!
